We're happy to share with you our photos from our engagement session in sagada! It was one hell of an experience that I'm very happy to be part of - and to be able document at that. =) It was the perfect getaway, and with Mars and Lei taking care of us, things just got better =)
The weather didn't cooperate for some stretches of the trip but I think we got pretty much what we wanted - shots with those colorful mountain jeeps/trucks, shots inside the caves, shots at the lake, and yes even at the market! =) We also had infrared photography tried for the first time in engagement sessions but we're saving those shots for a post of its own. =)
Here are some behind-the-scenes shots before you go to the prenup photos.
This is us trekking down the cave full of bat dung! hahaha... it was a bit more difficult for me because I had to carry my camera with one hand but I did have my R-strap with me and that made it a bit easier =)
Seriously, it was pitch black in the caves without these lamps (we had two). So while I complained previously about how hard the shoot was in Niagara Falls, this session in the caves beats it. Totally dark, very wet, and no platforms to work with (hahaha - it's not what you think) - just all rock formations. The shots were fine but we did lose two flashes during this shoot. bummer! expensive but worth it ;)
And here we all are! Funny I was able to sport a nice smile after our second flash just gave up on us. hahaha.
Firing range! Both Rommel and I sporting the R-stap! =)
It looks like I just woke up in this photo... well, you know what? I really just woke up! =)
Group shot # 2. I hate my hair!
This is how we do engagement sessions... stand-up like robots and shoot listlessly. hahaha.
This is a favorite! although I hate the colors of this photo (dont you?).
Bruce gave a fake jump!
Okei, enough of the stories and enough about us! Here are Mars and Lei's photos. And if you want more, you can click here.
thanks for visiting! ;)
