We admit that it’s been a while since we last updated this blog. A couple of weeks of silence isn’t really too bad but we do make an effort to keep the site fresh and our shoots featured thus two weeks is quite long. To make up for this and to usher in the new year with nothing but beautiful things, we are sharing a wedding that’s unique yet very much a classic. The wedding of Janet and Jonathan was done in traditional British fashion in no less than Bedfordshire England – a wedding showered with the most wonderful things.
Bedford is just a couple of hours out of London. But when you get there you feel like you’re transported into a different world – something you only see in the movies – or for this matter a TV series (check out Downtown Abbey if you haven’t). This is true especially for people like me who grew up not only in the exact other side of the world but also in a bustling metropolis. Woburn is a quaint little town that’s endlessly picturesque. It is filled with history and the absolute place for the long-standing British wedding. To have the opportunity to take part and shoot something as breathtaking as this should be every wedding photographer’s dream.
I’m deeply grateful to both Janet and Jonathan for commissioning me to do their wedding – for their trust and their commitment to create something beautiful and lasting. I’m also thankful to their friends and family who graced the celebration and made everything about the wedding be as amazing as it can possibly be. This is truly one of the highlights of what has been a very blessed 2013 for Metrophoto. Enjoy the photos.
Special thanks to Jet Nepumuceno, my brother in London and to my lovely wife Nina for assisting me in this shoot. :)
