It’s quite unusual how I met and booked both Diane and Alwyn. When it is typically the bride that I always meet first, whether solo or with the groom, it was Alwyn that I’ve met and talked to quite a few times before I got to Diane. Maybe this is because Alwyn and I go to the same fitness centre and that was where he knew about me – which in itself was unusual given how seldom I visit the place. All the queries and negotiations went through Alwyn and it seemed to me that Diane wasn’t that interested or sold to the idea of getting Metrophoto. Most of the time it is the groom who needs the convincing and not the bride. Because of these, I was anxious when we eventually decided to discuss our transaction face-to-face.
What I knew then was that Diane was busy and that she was at the same time astute. She shuttles from Manila to Tarlac often for business and that’s the reason she was too occupied to meet with me sooner. Also, she didn’t want to commit to a meeting unless she knows all the possible options she may have. Alwyn did much of the probing before we got to meet but when that meeting happened I can’t believe I worried too much. Diane as I now know her is incredibly nice, beautiful, and really knows what she wants. As it turned out, there was never a hint of doubt that it was Metrophoto that she wanted to shoot her wedding. What she made sure of was that they would be able to proceed with the discussion with me without their emotions or preference getting in the way – although I think it still did. haha!
It has been more than a year since that first meeting I had with them and we’ve already had great experiences together shooting their pre-wedding and their wedding. I’m very delighted that we’ve kept in touch and that the opportunity to see each other are always there. Enjoy their wedding photos. :)
