Baguio Destination Wedding | Caress and Jonji

I’ve always envied photographers who live and cover weddings in non-tropical climates. When I say non-tropical I mean four seasons, relatively cool weather, dry air, and most importantly, very long daytimes during the summer. They are likely to be no limit with what style and number of layers of formal wear they can wear because the temperature will allow it and they have practically several hours of amazing light before it starts to get dark. In comparison, here in the Manila, the mere idea of wearing a long-sleeve shirt and a necktie makes one sweat already and that golden light? It would be lucky to have 30 minutes if it.

But every once in a while, we also get to experience this kind of treat and we don’t have to travel across the world. It is not exactly the same but every time we do get to shoot in Baguio, present is the cooler air and a more diffused and flattering light. All these without compromising the quality of the wedding celebration because the place is accessible enough to make everything happen. Today’s feature of the wedding of Caress and Jonji, will all take us again to the closest place to heaven for wedding photographers – figuratively and could be literally too. Seated on top of a mountain chain, Baguio city is a world of its own – surreal for the most parts and every bit spectacular. What makes all these more pronounced is the fact that the ceremony was held outdoors inside the cup of the mountain range with tasteful set-up and beautiful people. You will really feel that were no one else there but Caress and Jonji and people who love them.

So let us take to a place that’s different but with all the same elegance and style present in every Metrophoto wedding. Enjoy.
