I would always like to meet my couples before the wedding and get to talk to them personally for me to have an idea of how they look like and how their personalities are. The most ideal will always be to have a pre-wedding shoot with them to make them comfortable with me and in front of the camera. None of those were met with Mayne and Martin as they are both based in Dubai and so we only got to meet each other on their wedding day.

Cases like this will always be a challenge for me, though I’ve always had my way of making couples be themselves and relaxed in front of my camera. But when I met Mayne, it was no challenge at all. She’s very beautiful and confident in front of the camera, Martin was good looking as well they were so easy to photograph. The only challenge for Martin is to be in a suit on a perfectly fine hot and sunny summer day in the Philippines, but we never heard him complain and we finished all the portrait sessions. By the end of the day, it’s like we’ve known each other for so long and I always like that feeling at the end of every wedding I shoot.
