There are places that you go to, there are people that you meet, and there are things that you see that naturally put things in perspective. The experience I had travelling to New Zealand to shoot the wedding of Anthony and Glenn are all that. It uncovered how inexhaustibly beautiful the world is and how inexorably telling love is. It is about always making the most in everything so you never have to look back, never have to regret.

The love of Anthony and Glenn is uncommon in so many ways and they both know that. It is something that not most people get to have, much more be able to celebrate. So they made sure that they make the most out it, that it will not only be a mere union but a tribute to the kind of love that has been challenged for so long. Their wedding, one of the most beautiful that anyone can ever witness, is a testament to making the most out of their love – done in the best way that they could possibly do it and also shares the story of triumph to the rest of the world.

It is also an opportunity of a lifetime for someone like me, to play a role of capturing the moments and furthermore, be part of how the story will be told through the distribution of these photographs. There was no question in my mind right from the start that no matter how intimidating the place and circumstance seems to be, I would do nothing else but make the most out of it as well. We planned, brought the best personnel possible, and really embraced every little thing and moment that happened.

Where we came from and more importantly, the people we met, have made me even more grateful of the life we live. I am blessed with the best of friends and given the chance to make the happiest of memories. Here’s to Anthony and Glenn, to a love that soars past mountains and transcends time, and to making the most our of everything.
