I’ve travelled to Taiwan to see and shoot one of the most distinct rock formations and I’ve also travelled to the Middle East to see and shoot vast sand dunes. Both places were amazing, but what is more amazing is that you can actually get the best of both destinations right here in the Philippines. Just about 10 hours drive from Manila, Ilocos Norte offered us the opportunity to shoot in its magnificent rock formations in Kapurpurawan and in its sand dunes in Paoay and La Paz. It was a feast for any photographer and having both Nicky and Darwin as subjects just elevated that to many more levels.

The photographs that we created, as you will see below, are as entrancing as the places themselves. I just have to give props to Nicky, one will really get a kick out of shooting her – alluring and very pretty. Although there would be instances that you’d feel she was indifferent and even resistive on a few of our ideas, she would prove me wrong because she would execute it even better than how we envisioned. Of course all of those were complimented by Darwin being totally cool, encouraging and making sure that we were very much taken cared of during the entire trip.

I know that our recent posts of our Palawan and New Zaeland shoots are tough acts to follow, but I think that this awe-inspiring shoot of Nicky and Darwin can stand its ground. Enjoy :)
