Today’s feature wedding is probably one of my most favorites in recent years. For all the biased reasons that not only am I the photographer but also a groomsman. Seven years ago, I have been a photographer/secondary sponsor and then five years ago, I have been a photographer/best man at a wedding in Mexico and this marks my first time as a photographer/groomsman.
What’s really telling about all this is that in the previous occurrences, the grooms were good/best friends of mine to start with, but Margaux and Francis were my clients to begin with. We became such great friends that they made me, their photographer, a part of their entourage and not the other way around. We always say that our relationships with our clients are important to us and with our Creative Director, Mike also getting a nod as a secondary sponsor, there is no better proof to that bond than this.
I know that we just recently featured a Manila Peninsula wedding. But we find pride in the fact that we have made them look very different yet both very beautiful and tastefully done even if they were held in the exact same venues. Simplicity is never an excuse to do the thoughtless, the expected, and the repetitive things. Effortless can be be unique and beautiful if one is not lazy.
Bias aside, I love everything about this wedding. I love all the suppliers we teamed-up with, I love their families, and I love Margaux and Francis. Enjoy the photos – it was weird seeing myself in a couple of them but I appreciated it nonetheless. :)
may i ask who are your suppliers? Really love the vibe of this wedding
thanks!
all the best
