Japan Pre-Wedding Photographs | Marge and Ed

Japan never gets old, in fact our every experience of it get better, we find more delicious places to eat, more interesting stores to shop at, and more daring photos to shoot. The only thing that doesn’t change is our love of the place and the bond we create with the people we take the trip with. One priceless piece of memory added to a collection so priceless that even the Louvre would envy. This particular one with Marge and Ed had an attachment more nostalgic to think about and harder to forget. I guess that’s the result when we chose to not get separate rooms in a hotel and instead book a house where we were forced not only to stay close together but also know what everyones else is doing when we were not actually staying close together.

There were seven of us total – Marge and Ed (brutally brave but very loving couple), me with Erron and Mike and then we have the beauties Zo and Amanda. Everyone had a role in the shoot and in the house. Ok maybe only in the shoot because aside from Ed acting as our ‘dad’ everything else was a free for all and it was absolutely fun. This may be too close for comfort for other people but I surprisingly found comfort in it. I enjoyed the closeness we developed, and to an extent, I think it made the shoot not just better but more meaningful and rewarding as well. Given the difficult concept of shooting in snow, I think all of these things really helped us make the most out of it.

In this pre-wedding expedition we also tried, and executed for the first time, a behind-the-scene video that we like our followers to see and enjoy. The quality is not stellar by any standard – not even very good – but it does serve its purpose for now and it does so quite admirably. We will start to roll this out in our destination shoots first and hopefully to the rest of our pre-wedding shoots. It’s such a joy to relive the moments through this video and then see the actual photographs that we were able to come up with. I hope that you guys enjoy all of these significantly – even not as much as those that are a part of it will surely do.
