The Wedding of Tin and Ryan | Tierra Alta Dumaguete Wedding

It is no secret that we value client relationship in Metrophoto more than anything. Of course these relationships are built by providing top quality products and customer service but we get to keep it by genuinely loving our couples. I’ve gained so many friends doing what I do and I think it is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve really had. Yet sometimes it extends to more than that, a business partner or even to being kins from another mother.

I can honestly say that nothing could have prepared me for the wedding of Tin and Ryan in Dumaguete. It was a wedding graced and participated in by the best of the best of the wedding industry in Bacolod where the bride Tin, is one of the top wedding planners. Metrophoto was the lone wolf who flew from Manila – every other supplier in the wedding were either from Bacolod or Dumaguete. I’ve mentioned being pressured shooting the weddings of other wedding suppliers and I think this had the most pressure yet. Previous co-supplier weddings that I shot were people that I already knew, Tin and Ryan I only met the day we flew in for their wedding. I was seriously hoping that if ever there is a glamour to being a supplier from Manila, that it didn’t exaggerate the actual things that we can do because as always, I wanted to deliver to expectations at the very least, moreso to people as warm, as pleasurable, and as darling as Tin and Ryan and everyone else who were in their wedding.

It is hard to explain, but truly this has been the most positivley complete of weddings that I’ve ever been to – one of the best in recent memory. There were high expectations but everything was offered for us to succeed. More importantly, we were so away from home yet we were embraced by family. Every wedding our lives are enriched by several new acquaintances and a few friends, in this one wedding, we added what felt like a year’s worth of those friends plus, in my case, a sister and a brother with Tin and Ryan.

I would like to extend my profuse gratification to Ed of EdX Photography in Dumaguete for again having our backs and taking very good care of us every time we visit – we would be limited without you. To Quincy, for introducing the couple to me, and of course to Tin and Ryan and the rest of the spectacular people who took part in the wedding – our romance with the Island of Negros has just begun.
