We conclude our incredible Aitutaki wedding series of Shana and Jesse today with the photos from their day-after or trash the wedding dress shoot. Most of the photos that we featured in the wedding were shot either in Aitutaki Village where the ceremony was held or in One Foot Island where the wedding reception commenced. We were able to capture some amazing shots just being those two places but we of course wanted to go around the island of Aitutaki to explore and get more shots so we scheduled this half-day shoot the day after the wedding.

I didn’t mention in my previous post that while shooting Shana and Jesse’s portraits during the wedding day from a very high vantage point, I dropped my wide-angle lens. From then on I only had the 50mm as my widest lens and that included the reception coverage and this shoot. Shooting without a wide lens is the toughest especially if what I wanted to showcase is the beauty of a particular place. But I had make do with what I had and really thanks to such beautiful place and a beautiful couple – it wasn’t that tough at all.
