Throughout the years, Metrophoto’s understanding and admiration of same-sex marriage has not changed. In fact, the more we witness them and the more we get to know the people take part in them, the more we appreciate the opportunity of shooting them. What has actually changed was how this kind of love has started to win in many facets of society and legislation. The battle continues but more and more people have started to recognise and accept as they go beyond the stereotypes.

Today we are proud to feature the wedding of Rica and Ann. In one of the most beautiful and heartfelt Boracay weddings we have seen, they have really celebrated their love impeccably. Filled with the love of family and friends, they sunshined their love in the lush paradise of Shangri-la adorned with simple but well-thought of elements that, like them, are no different form any other couple that gets married. Having known each other since their high school days, their wedding was a culmination of a relationship that had to go through many kinds of challenges -including that of distance. But Rica and Ann is proof that with perseverance, love always wins and they did – as their hashtag aptly say – #yesricann.
