“Eso si que es la vida” is how one say ’Now that is the Life’ in Spanish. It is one of the very few things I remember from my college Español class, a phrase people use to simply admire life to the fullest. I find it doubly significant to today’s feature. Not only are we sharing a wedding so embracing of life and of love but also a wedding that was celebrated in most wonderfully-art-full city of Barcelona.
Witnessing this wedding is like being in a fairy tale. There is the place, the castle, the princess, the prince, and yes, even the magic. It is what wedding dreams are made of – no evil step mother, no witches, no wolves and no sign whatsoever of Cersei or should I say the White Walkers since the venue of the reception is Castell de Santa Florentina or the actual Horn Hill.
I have been to so many weddings but taking part in something as grand, as far and as amazing as this, put together so impeccably is beyond my comprehension. What Aika and Jo was able to accomplish left me wide-eyed and my camera, gasping for more memory. If such great love is to be distinguished, it should be definitely be like this.
Covering a unique wedding is not without its trouble. It was a challenging undertaking but very much fulfilling nonetheless. It is true what they say that if something is easy, everyone does it and this is the opposite of that. Yet we cannot be more grateful to Aika and Joseph for the opportunity and love that they gave me and my team al throughout. We really felt that we want to give them the best possible memories of their wedding not because they hired us, but because we love them and they deserve nothing less.
If you missed seeing the photos from their pre-wedding shoot, it’s not a bad idea to see them as well by clicking here. Enjoy the photos because my friends, eso si que es la boda.
