Nothing will beat the blistering heat during this march wedding in Boracay in the Philippines. Nothing but the coolness of the wedding itself and all of the people that took part in it, especially of course our lovely and superduper nice couple, Laszlo and Kankan. From the details, the set-up, the food, the engagement party, to almost everyone in it - awesomely fun crazy people and fun and not that crazy people, it was a wedding that I wish we can do again =)

Despite everyone having a huge concern because the church in the island was packed with scaffolding inside and out, finally, they are renovating the church. Only it was at such a bad time because hey, how are we supposed to have a wedding there?! So after much deliberation and a little power thrust, the task to clear the church-full of steel braces was done for two whole days. They did such a good job, no one even noticed =)

It was like for that couple of days, Boracay was our home. hahaha. =) It was one of those weddings that I enjoyed the most and really it's like we were one huge family out there on the beach.

Props to Kankan's sisters, Lanlan and Ranran (yes, that's how cutely confusing and repetitive their nicknames are) for organizing such a wonderful party at the Seawind Resort in Boracay. Here are some photos behing-the-scenes from this very beautiful wedding. =) I think it was Maki who had the most fun of all =) hahaha!

The amount of satisfaction and delight my photography gives me is tremendously high. It's priceless, it's incessant...almost impossible to top. Except of course when it comes to family... it is the one thing that tops everything =)

You can just imagine how thrilled it was to actually have a real portrait session with my babies, the metrophoto cuties =) It was a feeling that is hard to explain and seeing the results makes me prouder than ever. =)

Lance Ocean just turned 4 and Lana Oasis is a year and half. I have had photos of them piled-up and never got to finish any. So I thought that it's the best time to have their own portraits taken by their Dad (or Da if you ask Lana). They are just the most adorable little ones ever and we can't be happier parents =)

Ivan and Jenie were my officemates a few years back. Got really excited when after several attempts, they decided that Metrophoto was worth the investment and they got me to cover their wedding and more thrillingly, our schedules matched and we set to have their aftershoot in Macau - at the tailend of their honeymoon. =)

Fresh from the e-sessions from Hongkong, we woke up very early the next day to catch the wonderfully cold January morning sunrise of Macau. It was pretty chilly but what the heck, if Jenie can withstand the temperature donning her wedding gown, why couldn't us? =P

We went around Macau's famed square where St. Paul's Cathedral is situated and got lucky when a very nice English lady told us about a nice alley to shoot where everything is painted red! I was stoked when I saw the place =) We finished off at the grand Venetian Hotel in Macau. =) You can see here that my hair is all messed-up (well, more than the usual =P) - I just didnt have the will power to shower that morning! hahaha. (I did brush though =P) Love this alley! You can imagine how hard the wind was blowing right?
