As I promised from my blogpost yesterday, here are the photos from John and Sharon's boudoir photosession they had right after their wedding. The combination of the lack of time and ideas for an e-session and the choice of highlighting one's assets led to the decision to have a intimate and impassioned shoot instead.

It has been a while since I shot my last boudoir session thus I was both a little excited and tense. hahaha =) but thanks to sharon who was so comfortable that the entire shoot happened in a breeze =)

Enjoy the photos =)

John and Sharon are from New York. John is a highschool teacher while Sharon is obsessed with the highschool vampire, Edward, in the Twilight series . John calls out and corrects all the grammatical errors in my contract (which I thought was flawless) while Sharon laughs at them. hahaha. kidding. =) They are one of the very few couples that I meet for the first time on the actual wedding day. Even though we didn't get the chance to meet I was able to know a lot about though constant communication where esle? facebook! =) hahaha.

Many people comment that Sharon is hot. What I personally think is unimportant. hahaha. What is important is what you'd think base on my photographs of her. As a warm-up, please enjoy John and Sharon's wedding photos below. And watch out for my next post where I be showcasing their steamy boudoir photoshoot.

It took a lot of ideas, a lot of turns, and a lot planning before Jay and Gaia finally decided that they are going to have their e-session in Ilocos Norte. Afterall, Jay is a tycoon from Laoag (that's what we tease him) and Gaia is a princess from Bagiuo (which isfar up north as well). And who am I to say no to a photoshoot in one of the best places in the Philippines? I'm actually stoked that they chose to have their e-session there instead. woohoo!

An hour's flight from Manila brought me back to the homeland of the Marcoses after 5 years, and this time I'm ready to bring home more than memories. We had our schedules all packed. Including of course feasting ourselves with native ilocano delicasies like the Bagnet and their famous Empanada.

We shot heavily (heavily?!) in the Putaput Viaduct (where I had to hike up a cliff to get a spectacular shot of the bridge and the sea - with the couple of course) and in the Bangui Windmills. Both were dream locations for me to shoot and I could do a cartwheel because of so much excitement when we got there. hahaha =)

Enjoy the photos from this intense e-session.

Last September 19, Metrophoto conducted the first ever edition of Hothouse. =) We had such a blast! The slots that we opened were filled-up in just 3 hours! That's the power of FREE for you! hahaha.

A total of 50 participants attended the Hothouse (plus a lot of support from members of our super awesome photo club, Pinoyphotography) that ran the entire day with two sets of shoots with our beautiful model bride lelly. =) Yeah, it was crazy but it was unbelievably fun to share what we have with people that share the same passion for photography. =) I did almost lose my voice but that was nothing compared to the feeling of fulfillment by being able to pay forward all the blessings that we had over the last couple of years.

Of course, none of these would have been possible without the help of the following people.
- Canon Philippines, the one and only system we use to create all our photographs
- Albums Incorporated, the maker of most of our top-quality albums
- Blackrapid, the inventors of our rapidstraps
- Veluz Reyes, for the amazing gowns that Lelly wore for the shoots
- Angel and Steve of the Make-up Studio for dollying-up our model
- Teddy Manuel for the sophisticatedly pretty bouquet
- Details Diva Ernest Pascual of Eventsevents for coordinating the entire workshop!

For more details about the Metrophoto Hothouse workshop, click here. See you next year for a more beefed-up edition of the Hothouse.
