As we try to catch-up with an overwhelming number of things to post let me showcase another wedding that’s long overdue for a showcase.

Jonathan and Charmaine’s wedding last year was full of elegance and yet full of fun. Their details were awesome and I can’t Jonathan’s dad’s speech where he revealed much of the groom’s funny anecdotes from childhood up till he decided to get married. The stories were more interesting hear because we know the couple pretty well as we spent great amounts of time in Batanes for their engagement session shoot earlier the same year. =)

Enjoy the photos. =)

When we went to Batanes a couple of months back for our e-session shoot with Charmaine and Jonathan, the province was up for a huge challenge – it was to impress me with its beauty that has been a sensation to everyone who had been to the place. But it wasn’t going to be easy because just a couple of weeks earlier I spent almost a week in Taiwan including the country’s most unique and famous geological features that rival those of Batanes – which are neighboring islands north of the Philippines thus the geological similarities are not hard to come by.

Soon after I alighted the plane in Basco Airport, the challenge was over and I was taken. Well, not literally (it’s one of the safest places I’ve been to) – my jaw dropped with the view of a hill surrounded buy streaks of cottoncandy-like clouds all in front of a rising sun while the entire area is covered with a captivating morning mist. I can still feel and imagine that moment – it’s one of those that makes you feel grateful you’re alive. Batanes has its own magic that captures you differently than any other place – yes including its neighbor, Taiwan.

The whole amazing experience continued in every spot we went to – I guess the rain-filled first few days helped create the enchanting feeling – and it was a shoot that we definitely won’t get over with and we would like to thank Jonathan and Charmaine for coming-up with such a great location. =) Enjoy the photos.
