One of the best and most memorable places I’ve been to is in Mexico. I love the people, the culture, the food, the tequila, and almost everything else (ok I still think that our beaches are better than theirs but their vibrant culture surely make-up for that). This is the reason I was very delighted when I went to Pueblo Por la Playa, a mexican-themed resort here in the Philippines. I mean, not only did it create a mexican-inspired resort for the sake of saying it’s mexican, like a lot of similar other things we see but from the architecture, colors, and details – it does feel like the real thing. :)

These made the e-session shoot of Jaymie and Chris even more enjoyable. The backdrops and interiors were gorgeous and it was easy to access rooftops and terraces. All these made the 4-hour trip from Manila all worth it. So big thanks to Jaymie and Chris for bringing us to their hometown of Lucena in Quezon to shoot there.

I have featured Larae and Monds already previously with the photos from their e-session that we shot in a ranch in Batangas, Philippines. That shoot even had its own accompanying Metrophoto Bride campaign poster. Today, I’m excited to share with you the photos from their absolutely beautiful wedding in San Sebastian church and in Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila.

If their e-session showed more of power and speed, their wedding wass all about elegance and the impeccable attention to details. In fact if there are two things I cannot forget about this wedding, it would be the exquisite details I saw throughout the day AND how much these two people are so obviously into each other. I know these things sound too common in weddings, but also believe me when I say that theirs, really stood-out.

In fact, Larae and Monds’ so-to-speak “flexibility” in being able to consistently look gorgeous in whatever theme or surrounding we tried and put them into, plus the awesome fact that they seem to can’t get enough of each other, made me decide to choose them as my models (and brand representative) for my recently concluded Hothouse workshop. Those are just terrific qualities of consistency and love that are also always present with Metrophoto.

So go ahead and enjoy the photos. Look at each photo more than once and you would really appreciate the details and the celebration that made this wedding one-of-a-kind.

There is much anticipation for the post of the wedding of Eric and Lalaine. After all, I could very much say that they are the most ubiquitous couple in my blogsite – if not the most popular – because of the multiple features we did of their e-session in Cambodia last year. Those times we spent there during the shoot created a bond that proved engaging come their wedding day. As what I experience in most of my weddings, I really felt involved and happy while covering their wedding day, it’s that sort of regard and joy you feel as if it is someone so close to you celebrates such an important day in his/her life that you just always want to give it your best :)

It has been a few weeks already after the wedding, but it’s always touching to relive the moments of that day, and this time we are taking you all with me :)

We have recently featured a wedding in the same church and we’re always proud to say that even if we shoot regularly in the same locations, they are always different. This is why we try to feature as much of our shoots as we can here in this blog site :) Enjoy the photos.

Worked this one with Jody Liwanag of Events Experts, who totally executed everything flawlessly despite the huge pressure given the size of the wedding and the people in it =) Also to complement us and make sure more beautiful photos were captured, The Eddie Boy Escudero was also there as part of their wedding team =)

Jam wore a gown by Rajo Laurel, was dolled-up by Barbie Chan, SDE’d by Mervin Gobaco, made into movie star vampires by Dom of Imacron, and everything was styled and directed by Robert Blancaflor.

If you think I already mentioned too many names, then fine. I won’t say that among the famous people present were Mr. and Mrs. Manny Villar, Lily Monteverde, Fernando Zobel de Ayala, Eugenio Lopez, Bongbong Marcos, and yes, not in line but Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. =)
