There are a lot of beautiful things to remember from the wedding of Kai and Grace and Metrophoto made sure that everything were stylishly kept safe in the wonderful photographs that we are about to share with you. But one thing that I really cannot forget is something that Grace told me and something that cannot really be understood by just looking at the photos.

Kai and Grace are both Taiwanese who grew-up in Canada. For their wedding, they wanted to go back and celebrate it in Asia. They checked and visited the more well-known and well-marketed resort islands of Phuket and Bali (among others) but it is with Boracay that they fell in love. It struck me well because, all biases aside, having been to most of the great beaches in the world, Boracay is still the best for me. And even though I have visited the place countless of times already, I always look forward to the next time I set foot on it again.

This wedding feature is very long overdue but I guess Kai and Grace made a great decision in choosing the location because it helped make all those moments seem more beautiful, more magical, more fun, and definitely timeless.

Enjoy the photos, you haven’t seen a Boracay wedding quite like it :)

It’s been a looong while since I last featured a Boracay wedding in my blog. For some reason, they get mixed-up during the busy season and the chance for a feature is lost faster than the sun sets in this breathtaking island. But that is about to change. Starting with the wedding today of Lowell and Mylene, I’ll be featuring some of our weddings from the island in next few weeks.

Boracay is my most favorite destination – both for pleasure and for work. But since the job that I do is something that I deeply adore, then it always just seem like a vacation. I have been to famous destinations like Hawaii, Koh Samui, Bali, Sanya, and even in Cabo, Mexico but nothing compares to the beauty of the Boracay beach and sunset. Others may have the better facilities and resorts and offerings but base it on pure-charm, Boracay is the clear runaway winner.

The more these stunning qualities are accentuated when you photograph a wedding filled with wonderful and beautiful people. Lowell and Mylene hail from Dumaguete and experienced some challenges a day before the wedding when Sendong caused a lot of flights to be delayed. It was uncertain if the priest, the wedding gown, and a lot of the guests were ever gonna make it because of the weather condition. But in the end everything worked out and the wedding was divine because if they had the wedding in Dumaguete as initially planned, it would have not happened because of the storm.

Enjoy :)
