Destination Weddings has taken me to the most exotic and extreme places. And just like the Guinness Book of Records, there is no limit to what superlative the next destination will bring. Case in point is my recent wedding in Scottsdale Arizona. This has got be the hottest place that I’ve ever shot, because if it is not, then I probably have shot in the sun! hahaha. Ok, that may be too much of a comparison, but seriously, it felt like it was 50C when we shot the wedding of Ryan and Michelle and if not for the “coolness” of the place and the niceness of the people, my brain would have melted in exhaustion – the exact opposite of brain freeze (but triple the pain).

It was my second time in Arizona but my first time to see the Westin Scottsdale which was really awesome – it has it’s own lazy river! I also enjoyed shooting A LOT of different cactus species plus some nice cave-painting details around the area.

Ryan is from Scottsdale while Michelle is from Manila. Their wedding is like putting together desert with countless typhoons – it’s perfect if you ask me. And perfect is the wedding indeed :) Turn on the A/C, this one’s going to be one hot post :)
