I always open my blog posts with my favorite portrait of the couple from the shoot and then I blurb about what I remember the most about the experience. Needless to say, today’s post is different. This is I think the first time that I’m opening a post with a photo without my couple. hahaha. Of course this is not to take anything away from my super awesome couple – Curt and Shiela – it’s more because it’s the first time that my bride’s shoes is almost as fab as my bride herself =)

These incredibly chic Louboutins are just the start of the pretty things about this wedding. This being Curt and Shiela’s renewal of vows (from their wedding 10 years back), their beautiful children are now witnesses to the event. What’s most fun are the entertainment that Sheila prepared to surprise Curt during the party at the Terra Gallery in San Francisco – Fire dancing and Beat-boxing.

Enjoy the photos, love them – especially those at the ceremony =)

Last Monday, Hothouse San Francisco finally got underway. It was overwhelming to be given the opportunity to be able to share through a workshop, the techniques and knowledge that made Metrophoto an instant brand success in such a big market. It’s being Charice Pempengco but in such a tinier more insignificant way. hahaha! =)

The workshop was held inside the fabulous Whitcomb Hotel in San Francisco where we were treated with a hospitality that was too awesome, I already had to resist. hahaha. Thanks to Joanne Tan who made sure that everything we needed was taken cared of (overflowingly). She’s such a sweetheart and I can’t thank her enough.

Super thanks also of course to the awesome-twosome wedding photography team of Alfred Salom Photography – both Emma and Alfred were the key people who made Hothouse a stateside success! =) hahaha.

Lastly to my man (well, not in a homosexual kind of way) Noel Dasmarinas of Our Digital Studio. He had my back all throughout the trip and made sure that not only will all of my shoots and and my workshop be winners, he also made sure I do a lot of shopping. hahaha =)

Make sure to check out their works as you’ll miss out on the next big things ;)

The fabulous and historic Whitcomb Hotel.

Wanna look inside? see how sexy our suite is ;) Woot!

Metrophoto Brand Collaterals – we came locked and loaded! hahaha =)

Had a great time sharing to all the participants… they are so fun…

… so fun that they actually seemed to be having too much fun while I was talking. hahaha =)

First shoot! =)

Someone’s having a great time! hahaha =)

Our beautiful and soon-to-be unreachable model and executive Joanne! =)

Joanne, now plus her handsome all-for-it boyfriend David!

red shoes: “thanks for giving me my solo shot” hahaha.

Hey Dustin! =)

She’s happy it’s over. No more fake lashes. hahaha =)

Thanks for the awesome time everyone! Go rock the Bay Area with your new and shiny metrophoto folders… i mean skills! hahaha =)

While updates on the blog has been a bit slow, I’m totally gonna make up for that by posting all of my recent shoots in the US that has not been showcased yet. I started with James and Jaygee’s Las Vegas shoot last week and today, it’s time for the wonderful photos of Tony and Joy from their e-session in San Francisco.

I have shot numerous sessions in downtown San Francisco but the place continues to fascinate me. I seems to have a character that just changes with every shoot. Always interesting, always beautiful =)

Tony and Joy are such sweet people, their connection and love are obvious that they just naturally get lost with each other even while in front of the camera (which of course is awesome!). Joy is Filipina and Tony is Guamanian with roots from Taiwan. I would have loved to shoot their wedding late this year in the Bay Area but since schedule won’t allow it, I’m more than grateful that I get to be a witness even with an e-session.

Enjoy the photos =)

and how about some delicious Thai food to finish a great day? yeah! =)
