This shoot took us all-around the Los Angeles area. We started shooting in the Griffith (not Griffin the Los Angeles basketball player) Observatory then went to the LA museum (LACMA) and finished off at the Walt Disney theater while being kicked-out twice either for not having permits or for being too awesome. hahaha.

It was real fun shooting at these locations given the provisions for a lot of perspectives and creativity because of the architecture. And having a couple as fun to shoot and as daring as Mike and Anne, and we have the epic ingredients for some real ass-kicking photos. And if those are not enough we have the Events Diva Teena Barretto with us – she did the styling and Anne’s make-up. :)

Enjoy the photos and props for Jay Cee Claveria for assiting me in this shoot :)

I considerably toyed with the idea of putting another place in the title instead of the actual place  (Los Angeles) which I ended up doing. This because the photos from the e-session of Loloy and Roan can easily be mistaken to be taken from Spain or from Mexico – although it’s easy for some people to argue that Los Angeles is more Mexican than anything else. The set has that Latin vibe to it that I really loved and all these places you’ll recognize if you’re familiar with the LA area. We shot at the Pasadena City Hall, the Colorado Bridge, and inside an old Spanish-inspired casa.

It was a great privilege to work with Monet Lu in this shoot, who made sure that Roan looked gorgeous in all of her sets and Loloy will be as Dennis Trillo-looking as possible.

Enjoy the photos :)

I like Sheryl Crow. There is something to her free-spiritedness style and spunk that just draws me to her music. What I’m saying is too out of the point of this entire post. Well maybe not that far out because I fell in love in Sta. Monica pier when I saw it and even more when Sheryl’s All I Wanna Do song had that “and the sun comes up over Santa Monica Blvd” line to it.

That goes to saying that it is one of my sought-after places to shoot an e-session. An then I met Mark and Trisha, and then it happened, and then they were awesome, and then the photos are awesome. =)

and then there were six of us together with Noel (Mr. ODS), Ollie and Bethany… and then it was pure fun. =)

The LA Union Station is likely to be one of the most used places when it comes to wedding photoshoots – heck we had at least 4 other wedding parties shooting among us when we had this shoot. While that doesn’t make it really unique, the beauty of it all is that I’ll get the chance to challenge myself to come-up with something extraordinary with a place that is far from being well, extraordinary.

And so we tried… hahaha. =) JJ and Tin set their shoot in the oft-used yet visually appealing Union Station in Los Angeles and we were up to it – even the couple who prepared vintage outfits and accessories to match the old interiors of the structure.

Hope you like the photos, we enjoyed evry minute of making them for you to see. hahaha =)

Big thanks to Noel or Our Digital Studio and his lovely fiance Mona for helping me out in this shoot and in making sure I get my behind-the-scenes shots for more self-promotion :) haha!

can you spare a dollar for my train ride? i can’t go inside. hahaha =)

Shooting weddings internationally? I call that awesome. Shooting weddings of celebrities? I call that spectacular. Now what about shooting the wedding of Jimmy Alapag and LJ Moreno in Laguna Beach in California? Awesome-tacular? You bet! =)

PBA all-star point guard Jimmy Alapag and actress LJ Moreno tied the knot at Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach south of Los Angeles. Families and friends (consist of cagers and celebrities) took part in the intimate but breathtaking ceremony that happened on top of the balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

A lot of beautiful people graced the event which already had such gorgeous couple and location and it’s just appropriate for me to churn out equally beautiful photographs. =) Enjoy LJ Moreno’s Wedding.

Don’t miss Jason Magbanua’s heart-melting SDE of the wedding here.

LJ had stylish purple shoes with “I” and “do” emblems glued at the soles. =)

Nothing beats the best weather in the best hotel and beach in the area.

LJ’s six-year old brother wrote the note below. It’s funny he seemed to know such things already. hahaha.

TFC correspondents were there to cover the wedding for The Buzz as requested by Boy Abunda. I saw myself in some of the clips in the show. Now I’m wishing I’ve nosed around more. hahaha.

Peachie is my new found friend. I know she’s Ruffa Mae for most people but like what I’ve said, we’re friends. So I call her Peachie. hahaha =)

My groom was strikingly handsome, he brought his A-game for the wedding of course – it’s like a Game 7 Finals day for him. =)

Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! =)

If we weren’t pressed for time, I wouldn’t have stopped shooting LJ. She’s beautiful in every angle.

LJ prepared for her vows. She told me Jimmy was really good with words and she wanted to make sure her vows will be as nice. Since at the photo below, Jimmy cried, I guess LJ nailed it! =)

Weeee!
