I saved the best for last in this final installment of Metrophoto’s New York series. Since I said that, I know that I just raised as much eyebrows as expectations on how epic this shoot should be. But let me just say that this e-session was shot inside the New York Yankees Stadium, while a damn awesome game is going on, so how else are we going to beat such a concept right? So there, I just wanted to say that right out the bat and clear things up – pun intended as usual. :)

Now before we go to that MLB game concept, let’s start out with Conrad and Julie’s photos from Central Park. I know that I’ve featured quite a lot of shoots from Manhatan’s green haven (most recently this one) but I always make sure that none of them are the same except for how unusually stylish they all are. In this Central Park shoot, we started off at the Bethesda Fountain and finished off at the popular Bow Bridge where we had around four other couples shooting there at the same time as us. Although as always it’s easy to spot the Metrophoto bride – Julie had the most scene-stealing and coolest poses.

We had to hurry back because we had a game to catch, yes a NY Yankees home game in the Bronx which also happens to be part two of their e-session. I have to tell you that we got some really really nice seats and it would have been a sin not to watch the game, but it would have been more of a sin to not shoot a once-in-a-lifetime chance e-session there. I therefore ignored Derek Jeter and focused on the real all-stars of the night which were Conrad and Julie. It was not easy to shoot while there are rabid fans all around trying to watch the game, but we didn’t care – or we acted like we didn’t care. hahaha.

So here’s a treat that’s one for the record books. Enjoy :)

New York City is one of my most favorite places in the world. It captivates me when I’m there and it captivates me even when I’m not – it is the only place I’d live in other than my beloved Manila. Yet it gets really overwhelming and lonely whenever I travel there without family, and the last time I went wouldn’t have been as enjoyable and memorable if not for Robert and Jade. For the first time after several visits, New York felt like home, it was more fun, it was more exciting, it was just amazing. Thanks to them and the company of their friends :)

Today we’re featuring the e-session shoot of Robert and Jade. I remember that day more than anything because of the heavy downpour we experienced – it was NON-STOP. I’m used to shooting in the rain (I’m from the Philippines where the only thing that out-number the rainshowers are the jaywalkers) but this was just different – NON-STOP like I’ve never seen before. It was quite a challenge but In the end, with the help of many umbrellas and many friends, we were able to pull it off. Soaked but successful.

I can’t wait to see Robert and Jade again, this time here in Manila for their wedding. I’m pretty sure that with homecourt advantage for me and with what we’ve already been through in New York, no amount of climate change can change what would be a surely wonderful wedding.

Enjoy the photos :)

Welcome to Part 2 of the engagement session feature of Archie and Lorah. In my previous post, I officially launched Metrophoto’s New York shoot series with the first part of the e-session. I had to compromise showing some of the locations to fit everything into two posts and still I’m left with almost a hundred photos for my post today. But the good thing is, it takes you to a lot of different places in New York, you won’t notice you’re looking at a hundred photos already :)

Squeezing in all of the locations we wanted to shoot at in three days was very ambitious. But somehow with great determination, uncompromising passion to deliver the best, and with many ways to make fun of each other and have fun  with one another – we all made it happen, 30 hours of shooting. In the city that never sleeps, there was absolutely no reason to. hahaha. My huge thanks to Archie and Lorah for all the confidence and all the NZT they gave me to survive, I proud to say we did it, and we did great :) Thanks also to Noel Dasmarinas for assisting me in this shoot and to Dana Murcia for Lorah’s make-up – I surely miss you guys and Dana’s nu-yok accent :)

So do enjoy these photos from Central Park, The Liberty Island, The New York Public Library, Times Square, and Wall Street. And while you may have already seen e-session from these locations, you’ve never seen it quite like how Metrophoto does it – so be in for a better treat :)

It has been quite a while since we finished our series of shoots in New York. It was one of the most grueling schedules I have ever had abroad but nothing compares to the experience that only the empire state can provide. The Big Apple was just like a forbidden fruit that if you take a bite into, it is the one the consumes you and not the other way around. :)

So yes, today, I’m officially launching the Metrophoto New York shoot series. Not only does it seem right to start after a looong holy week break but also because today is the birthday of Archie, whose engagement shoot with Lorah in New York was one of the most extensive I have ever done – as you will understand later on.

I have divided the shoot into two parts – more because of the many wonderful places we shot at and also because to make it a two-part gift both from me and Lorah. hahaha. Overall we went to more than ten locations around Manhattan alone and up to now I still vividly remember how we’ve gone through all of them with such a great time, you would think we were high on something al throughout those three days. hahaha.

It would be unfair to keep you waiting any longer so here are the photos from part 1 of the e-session shoots of Archie and Lorah that we shot around midtown Manhattan (5th avenue, Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock).

Enjoy each and every bit of it and happy birthday to one of the nicest, most handsome, and most imperturbable grooms that I have ever met (three whole days is no joke), Archie :) Watch out for an even more breathtaking set of photos for the second part of this series.

So here are the photos from Derrick and Mary Ann’s engagement session in New York that we shot in Time Square at the Central Park. =) Mary Ann’s cool parents and cousin tagged along too for a super fun shoot amidst the crowded streets and park! =)

Enjoy the photos =)
