An Intimate Shangri-la at The Fort, Manila Wedding | Arra and Wilbur

If Arra and Wilbur’s intimate wedding is an indication of things to come, we can all breathe a cautious sigh of relief and appreciate the beauty and hope that are unfolding before our eyes. After more than half a year and only one wedding coverage to show for it, this wedding was a breath of fresh and Covid-free air. October one was like January one as it started the upswing of people to loosening-up, celebrating, and demonstrating that they somehow have adapted to this new normal. At this wedding, I also realized that weddings are almost the same while a lot of things have changed. Yes, they are a little more complicated to prepare for with all the protocols to ensure safety, but other than that, things are how they used to be because people are the same. Brides still want the best for the most important day of their lives, family and friends still love to take part (whether in person or via zoom) in it, and suppliers, undoubtedly more motivated, still want nothing but the best for their clients.

I’m sure that you’ll know what I mean when you start looking at these photos below. It’s everything a wedding should be – beautiful, engaged, and uncompromised. I cannot appreciate Arra and Wilbur enough for their trust and for being one of the couples to pave the way for the rest to start celebrating again. Enjoy and continue to stay safe.
