Metrophoto’s Very Own Dino Weds Karen – Intimate Civil Ceremony

Love is present in all seasons of our lives, it is up to us to recognize that love, nurture and protect it at all cost.

I’ve known Dino for almost 2 decades now and he’s just the master of his craft. He’s the leading name in wedding photojournalism here in the Philippines and he’s internationally multi-awarded. Changing the Philippine Wedding Photography landscape since the digital photography evolution, he brought the “digital” wedding albums to the Philippines. He’s definitely one of the legends and brilliant minds in Philippine photography. When I met Karen a few years ago, I just felt quite at ease with her. She has always been the warm and inviting person that she is.

Dino had a different idea in mind for their wedding photos and thought of using phone cameras to document the day. He still did take photos with his phone but I was privileged to have been part of their wedding day and was able to take some photos for them. From having breakfast, to climbing up 10 floors of the city hall to reach the presiding judge’s office (Dino prefers stairs over elevators), the sweat-inducing interview before the rites of marriage, and the superb lobster and steak luncheon with Ansel and Jad, and Karen’s best friends Marion and Rhona, it was just a lovely glorious day. I’m so happy for them that it made me tear a little (more inside) in different parts of the day. And may I say Karen looked absolutely stunning in her white Charina Sarte dress.

Congratulations again you guys!
