Weddings in Peninsula de Punta Fuego are not that frequent thus when I found out that I will cover a wedding in possibly the most beautiful property there, i went nuts. Well, of course not. hahaha! but one can go crazy with the astonishing details available in the Wingate residences that I didn't know where to start shooting. The place was a Thai inspiration in its most ultimate. hahaha =)
Add to that a gorgeous bride and the most fun wedding team and we had photos that are as wonderful as the place =)
So go on... nothing else to read here. Enjoy the photos =)

This is the second of my back-to-back Trash the Dress posts. =) After previously featuring Tristan and Angelica's TTD in Macau, here is an equally fabulous aftershoot that we shot in Big Bear Mountain in California with Kristian and Donna.
I've always dreaded the cold weather, moreso shooting in it. But it was just awesome to think that I will finally have my first photoshoot in the snow so what the hell (funny I used hell when it's the totally opposite of it in here).
But I got lucky again. It was the end of winter and the snow were actually melting away. The temperature was at the ideal shoot temperature of around 20C. Yay! =) I didn't have to worry about anything except for walking in the snow. Good thing Kristian let me borrow his snowboarding booths and everything was sunshine. hahaha =)
Thanks again to Noel for tagging along in this shoot =) Enjoy the photos =)
enchanting!!!

If there's one thing I remember about this trash the dress session we had with Tristan and Angelica, it was bubble milk tea. oh plus the rain. So it's actually the pure enjoyment of drinking bubble milk tea while it is raining. I loved it a lot although it did ruin our shoot a bit because of the delay we had to endure going from the city to where The Venetian is located.
This shoot was done 4 months after their gorgeous wedding in Manila (that same wedding that was featured in my metrophoto video) and they had to fly in their gown and suit to Macau for the shoot. Thus Angelica wore the same beautiful Veluz gown that had those super cute pompom-like attachments which still fit her (to her surprise hehehe).
Thanks to Peaches and Rommel for accompanying me in this shoot and to Angelica and Tristan for the awesome session and of course in introducing me to authentic bubble milk tea which has been my favorite ever since =)
Awesome shot here -- 871117953_8PJnz-O ---

Wilvin and Gladys is one of my most adorable couples and yet their wedding is almost the one that almost didn't featured. While of course they had such lovely photos, I was hesitant to post them because if and when I do blog about them, I wouldn't be able to resist to tell the story, the horrid story, of how awful their wedding planners were from all throughout the wedding process. Well what the heck - I guess beauty always beats the beast. hahaha.
But I'll be nice and not totally berate those incompetent and arrogant basterds who messed-up the entire reception program (after all it has been several months already and I've calmed down). Those difficult people who gave us a call time of 9 FREAKIN' am when the ceremony (which happened to be in the same venue as the preps) was scheduled to start at 5pm. Tapos sila pa mayabang nung tinanong namin bakit maaga call time namin, sabi request daw ng bride. Now that explains the look of shock from Gladys' face when we woke her up in her hotel room that day. Bravo!
That was just to start our day and I don't need to write the rest of it, I don't want you to hate them too much... just a bit. hahaha =) For now, enjoy the wedding of Wilvin and Gladys, I'm glad they are awesome enough to more than negate all the bad aura that day =)
ok ive been following your blog for awhile now and i am truly amazed each and every time. this particular one caught my attention on twitter because the bride and i have the same name :) it must be a filipino thing! amazing work!
(06.05.10)oh yeah, i remember your facebook post about the frigging call time Oly. nakaka imbierna nga yun.>: pero all is well and this is another set of superb shots. :) keep it up pare! :)
(06.05.10)Pare buti na lang calmado ka, kung hindi, yung post mo would've been worse...LOL...good thing you calm down before posting this...

Since I promised to post a blog everyday for seven days and im now midway through it but realized I have my last US series to feature, I thought I'd extent that challenge to 10 days to feature all my really adorable and fabulous shoots (from San Diego to LA to Chicago) earlier this year.
Let me start with my first shoot of that series (although I have posted the wedding from Palos Verdes already) with Marvin and Madel in San Diego. A have quite a few friends from this county and I've always loved being there. That's why when Marvin told me it was a meaningful place for him and Madel and they wanted to shoot there, I thought it would be awesome =)
During the entire California leg of my shoot, my now good buddy and soon-to-be-groom, and photography protege (his the guy behind Our Digital Studio) Noel Dasmarinas was with me throughout and made every shoot more superb than they already were. =)
Marvin and Madel are set to marry this August in Los Angeles and I can't wait to go back and see them and their cool family again =)
Since super metrophoto partner Noel is with me, guess what I had a lot of? Yep, photos of me shooting! hahaha =)
weee! =) happy with another addition to my growing collection =)
very nice oly! galing talaga! I'm looking forward to our chance to be metrofied!
