Im sorry guys. For all of you gentlemen who got excited with the title of this blog post, I would like to apologize if I might have gotten you giddy for nothing. As you can see from the photo above, Leslie is a real-life male and this is not a lesbian wedding. hahaha! If there's any consolation, I too got my hopes high the first time around. =)

I'm kidding of course. But now with that out of the way, we can enjoy the photos of Leslie and Shiela's super beautiful wedding in Mary the Queen Parish followed by an equally elegant reception in Wack-Wack golf club. It was a blast shooting this wedding, we had the best time during the creative portraits both in the hotel and in the golf course as Shiela and Leslie were natural models because of the many practice shoots they had because Leslie is also a photographer =)

I also got to take home a nifty sunblock cream courtesy of my dermatologist bride. After asking her how to achieve the "artista skin", the very first thing she said is to make sure I don't expose my skin to the sun. So there, I'm on my way. So the next time you see me, dont be surprised. hahaha =)

Since the release last year of hybrid DSLR cameras that not only take photographs but also capture high-definition videos, the potential of that piece of equipment was never the same.

Along with it also came a whole lot of different tools and attachments that would overwhelm anyone. Enter DSLR University. It is a website portal for professional photographers and cinematographers who use DSLR camera as their tool of choice. It features reviews on products, workshops, photographers and cinematographers all in one website.

To know more about DLSR University, check out their site or contact site owner Mike Sato here

Metrophoto's hothouse workshop in San Francisco this June 21st is in there too so please make sure you check it out =)

It's been a while since this wedding of James and Jaygee. Sometimes things just pile-up out of control that I miss to share most of my weddings in this blog. This wedding surely is one of those that tops my list of fav weddings that I almost missed to blog. =)

James, Jaygee and me go way back. hahaha. Well, not really WAY WAY back, but we had some really unforgettably awesome time last year when I flew to Las Vegas to shoot their e-session on their bachelor/bachelorette party weekend. You know it's unnecessary for me to describe how much of a great time that was - James had my back there in all the "great places" we went to. hahaha =)

So here are the photos from their equally wonderful wedding in Tagaytay early this year. I miss these guys =)

It took a while before Jon and Mary were able to decide to book me for their wedding. But I guess, no other thing helped them but their gut-feel that it is what they really wanted - or that what was Jon told me. hahaha.

Set in the splendid venue of La Venta in Palos Verdes overlooking most of LA county, metrophoto witnessed and captured love, laughter, and the promise of forever. and as cheesy as that sounded and as much goosebumps as that gives me typing that, it's nothing to compared to the actual superb feeling of being in the wedding itself. Emotions filled the place throughout the event.

What made the whole experience more fun was that one of my best buddies Ollie and her fiance Cristina (who you probably know if you frequent this site), and a few of our friends were there too. Plus, I have the luxury of having Noel Damarinas of Our Digital Studio second-shooting for me. =) It's like I couldn't ask for anything more - well maybe a little more sun throughout that day but I'll take gloomy over rainy each and everytime =)

Enjoy the photos and some cute behind-the-scene shots at the bottom of the post =)

Here are some behind-the-scene photos of this intimately wonderful wedding =) Throughout the course of my grueling schedule in LA and San Diego, Noel here was the man of the hour/day/week! Thanks for all the help that made us take everything even a notch higher ;) Juju bear's mowdelling time =) Mary was great to work with too, such a trooper - willing to go through the shrubs for her beautiful portraits. This is me, all fascinated with the view of LA county from La Venta. I was looking where Kobe Bryant's house was. hahaha =) I sat and socialized the entire reception while I let Noel do all the work! hahaha. i'm kidding, of course, I actually let Noel eat. hahaha =) This is the metrophoto awesome-duosome group shot with jujubear and taw =)
