A couple of months ago, we traveled to Cebu for the wedding of Patty and Gio. It’s hard to explain fully, but other than it’s not in Manila, there were so many other things that made the feeling of going there unusual and exciting. Maybe it was Patty, whose spirit and spunk are a celebration in itself (she is such a sweetheart), maybe it’s the people we’re working with who we have known and been friends for a long time (and yet don’t get to see so often), or maybe it’s the place – a sprawling new hotel for the preps and a seaside (without the sand) spot for the ceremony, or maybe even because we know that Cebu is becoming more and more a home.

This wedding is the first of the many that the whole Metrophoto team (Cebu team aside) is set to have this year and the next. And with each wedding, we cover here, the more exciting it gets. We get familiar with more and more people and more and more places. Truly what’s not to love about Cebu and the Cebuanos, right?
