Sophia and Adrian are two hoteliers who met way back in 2017 at work. I knew Sophia as an Events Executive in Conrad, she did some of our weddings as well, while Adrian was a Duty Manager at the same hotel. Let’s just say that the world is indeed small and that, in life, some things are just meant to be.
This couple’s relationship is somewhat a long-distance relationship. Being our bride is from Quezon City and Adrian is from Las Piñas. But this couple’s love for one another is so strong that they never let the distance between them hinder their love.
When the pandemic started, and everyone’s events and weddings were postponed, the spirit of this couple was never dampened. They did not allow themselves to be discouraged despite the things happening around them.
Three months before their big day, I remember asking Sophia how their planning was doing. The situation on matters like the hotel and the guest list was uncertain. But she told me, “ipupush namin yung wedding regardless kung how many pwede mag attend.”
One thing was certain for them—the wedding must and will go on! At that moment, I knew that these two knew deep down that being with one another in this lifetime was the most important thing to them. Enjoy!
