This is probably one of the most interesting and exciting e-session concepts that we have done in quite a while. And given the new concepts that we employ regularly, I think that that’s saying something. So let me walk that talk, or should I say run if I may as in this e-session of Charles and Cha,we made use of the fact that they are both competitive runners and had them run al throughout the Metro. Yes, it’s running all around Metro with Metro. hahaha.

In Metrophoto, we have a process of coming-up with concepts that are not just unique but are also meaningful. We don’t want to do the same thing and the same poses OVER and OVER again, and yet we don’t want our couple to do something that is too out of themselves that they look like they are trying hard or worse, crazy. This process is a well-kept secret or that’s at least what we think. :)

For this e-session the ultimate inspiration was Tom Hanks in the movie Forrest Gump where he just ran and ran all around the US and along the way inspired others to run as well. Coupled with the idea’s novelty was the challenge that went with it. It was hard enough to secure a permit to shoot in one location, and it would be huge issue to shoot in several historic/iconic locations – not to mention the time it would take to travel from one place to another. So we scrapped the part where more and more people will start running with them and just focused on the locations. Still it was a logistics nightmare but somehow we were able to squeeze everything in in less than a day and in fact, we were even able to shoot the second part where both Charles and Cha are already in the running attires.
