I’m not going to warn you, because it’s useless anyway. If you are already reading this then you know that this shoot again has horses in them – similar to the previous e-session post we had. I know that it’s a good reason for me to space them apart but I thought why not post them chronologically as I normally do and maybe by having them featured one after the other will allow the viewers (that is you) to see the differences in them more. I thought that this way, we can show further about how differently we approach and shoot each session despite some similarities in them. :)

Today, it’s Kendrick and Ellen’s e-session feature. I remember when I met them for the first time and we were discussing what they wanted for their e-session photos and how we could find a place that had all of those. It was about the story of them, a story that’s 100 months in the making and what they wanted was really more about the beauty of nature – the greens and possibly a shoot as well with a horse. So it was a perfect match to shoot in Tagaytay, where the both elements of nature were abundant. We had a field day (pun intended) in the open area of Ville Sommet where we shot all of the daylight concepts in a light and fun atmosphere. Then we headed out to the horse-back riding facility right along the highway for an evening and more dramatic shoot with wild horses. Ok, they are not wild – their smell is. hahaha. We stripped these lovely animals of their saddles and used their makeshift headquarters as an old abandoned hut, and viola! we have stage set-up good enough for a mini-movie – ok maybe for just an MTV, but you get the point.

I take my hats off to both Kendrick and Ellen, for climbing a tree, for learning to ignore the smell of horse dung, and for nailing every shot like they were pros. It was such a fun experience which we fittingly ended with a few fireworks (as you will see below). Enjoy the photos.
