The Wedding of Carmie and John

There is a handful of numbers that played in the story of Carmie and John. To begin with, they’re accountants who met in college which blossomed and resulted to an elegant wedding in Subic.

I did a bit of digging on how to write this, but I remember someone telling about a book on young love. I’d love to relate what was said to me to Carmie and John’s coming-together. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer Smith. “Did you know that people who met at least three different times within 24 hour-period are ninety-eight percent more likely to meet again?” Perhaps Carmie and John’s story was somewhat similar to this. They both came from different places, Carmie is from Manila while John came from Olongapo and yet after numerous times they came across statistically in the four corners of a classroom, making their marriage a certainly more than a probability.

There’s another quote from the book that delighted me, “Is it better to have had a good thing and lost it, or never to have had it?” Thank you to John’s sister who suggested to them that they should invest on a very good photographer. According to her, it was something that she wished she didn’t compromise a few years back when she was the one who got married.

People get married once (at least here in the Philippines they do), and for Carmie and John theirs will be one that they will relive with happiness and contentment throughout their lives. Thank you Carmie and John for choosing us to document your beautiful wedding.

Enjoy the photos!
