Gaile and Steven | A Special Metrophoto Prenup Shoot

When international traveling was allowed, I chased upon to shoot the places that I have on my bucket list. From Havana in Cuba to Turkey, Peru, the list items were slowly being crossed out. But with the pandemic now upon us, I had to turn my attention to a different category in my bucket list – shoot concepts that wouldn’t require much travel.

I was fascinated with Harry Styles’ Falling music video and have obsessed with the idea of doing it in one of my shoots. I realize the complexity of making something similar happen, but I knew that things would fall into place with the right timing.

A couple of weeks back, things did fall into place. I had the right solution to execute the concept and the right people (especially Gaile and Steven) to help me make it happen. And today, we’ll all show you not only the results of that shoot but also the behind-the-scenes moment that defined it.

We did fall short of the grand shot we wanted (with both Gaile and Steven underwater). Still, after putting all into perspective, all the challenges and limitations we had as being only a wedding photography studio (and not Hollywood) and having only one day, it was a pretty big feat. And I couldn’t be prouder of Gaile and Steven.

Please check below out what I just crossed out in my bucket list. And I hope that it may serve as an inspiration that despite all the things that keep our hands tied nowadays, we can still dream and make it happen.
