The Wedding of Monique and Cedric | Bregancon, France

As wedding photographers, telling the story of the celebration in the most beautiful ways through our photos has always been the reason why we believe we exist. But sometimes our presence is mostly unimportant, especially when the story and the love is as beautiful and as touching as that of Monique and Cedric.

Almost a year ago, no one expected that we would all be in Bregancon watching Monique walk across the castle grounds to marry Cedric. She was in a coma after an accident injured her head and brain. Twice, the doctors needed to open her skull to fix the problem and even with those, the chances of her going to back to her own self was very slim. I have never heard such a story and I was really moved when Cedric told me about how from such a desperate and dark place, they all persevered and prayed, and Monique has recovered almost to her full self.

You can feel the sigh of relief, reverberation of victory, and the enveloping air of love throughout the day and even through the photos as I prepared to share them with you all. I hope that this inspires you as much as it has inspired countless others – a true celebration of love and of life to its fullest.
