I know that posts have been hard to come by lately. We deeply apologise for that and we are very much looking forward to this month to make sure that improvements are made – not only with how much we post but with what we post and where we post. In fact, Metrophoto has been putting together A LOT of things recently and we’re almost ready to lay them down one by one. We’re excited for all the enhancements and we’re ready for what have turned up to be a even busier 2014 than we expected.
Let us share with you today the pre-wedding shoot of Azurra and Sasan that we shot in Lucena, Quezon. This is Sasan’s home town and this is where they plan to spend their married life together so we thought the idea of shooting here was great. We discovered this very old bridge that was used even before the war of 1945 and it had a deep character – something you rarely see everyday. It actually seemed like you were taken to another place just by looking at how amazing Malagunlong Bridge was.
Initially we thought of putting ostriches (yes, those humongous flightless birds) with them at the bottom of the bridge. Somehow that idea, no matter how cool, turned out to be too ambitious because of the nature of that particular creature. We instead decided to use the more behave animal, probably the most behave, in the sheep. They are actually a delight to work with as they really just stay where you put them. haha!
Props to Sasan and Zur for making this shoot possible and even carrying the baby sheep despite the strong smell it leaves behind. The most important thing is that whatever smell it was, the only thing you’ll see in the photos is how beautiful they are.
Enjoy the photos.
