We believe that one of the things that sets Metrophoto apart is how we are able to fully execute a high level of taste to every photograph we produce. We contribute this to many many aspects like vision, composition, color, lighting and many more; but one very key thing is on how we can make ordinary couples ‘act’ in certain way in front of our cameras that allow every frame to look so raw, so genuine. Of course we have mastered a few techniques in order to do these consistently and we are proud to say that it has worked over and over again – we see things in our mind and then we tell our couples certain things and commands and it all happens like magic. Yet every now and then, there are couples who surprise us by being so unconstrained that they carry out the simplest instructions (sometimes even without any) much better than how we’d imagine it.

That is how I can exactly describe Grace and Ben. They just get lost in each other’s presence in every frame that we try shoot. I simply put them on their spots and tell them to ‘carry on’ or in actual terms we call it ‘landian’. As crude as that word may sound, we mean for them to do it in the most sophisticated way – and I guess that’s the only way they know how. The results we got were stunning. Add to that an equally stunning backdrop in Osaka, Kyoto and Nara in Japan and you can just imagine the splendour in all their pre-wedding photographs.
