Batanes Prenup Photos | French and Jeff

It hasn’t been a long time since we went and shot in Batanes before this one. While it is always a challenge to do something different, I have to say that Batanes makes things a little (just a little) easier. The place is teeming with picturesque spots after picturesque spots that sometimes I feel I barely scratched the surface with all the photos we’ve already done.

For this photoshoot of French and Jeff, we were finally able shoot at the Mahatao Boat Shelter. I’ve been wanting to shoot here the last few times I’ve visited but it was always closed for tourists – much more for photoshoots. Excited this time that we were allowed inside and boy did we make sure we shot around it as much as we could. One of the highlights for me is when we used the unfinished lighthouse in the said area. It exudes a different feel from all the other popular lighthouses of Batanes and this provided the photographs with a unique interpretation of the vistas.

I’m proud of the photos that we were able to capture and I’m even more proud of French and Jeff who braved extreme weathers just to be able to execute our vision. They are such troopers and they deserve pre-wedding photos that are as amazing as they are. I invite you to go there with us by watching the behind-the-scenes video attached to this post. And I hope that with that you get to appreciate more how unforgettable this experience was. Enjoy.
