A few posts back, I mentioned that it was in Cebu, where my last shoot of 2018 happened. Coincidentally, or because of some unverified force of nature, it is also in Cebu where my first shoot of 2019 was.

The world is telling me something for sure and whatever it is, I’m all for it. Because what better way to start what has been an amazing 2019, than to go back and shoot the most wonderful wedding of Janina and Nikko.

Janina is dear to me. It was also in Cebu, in the wedding of Karen and Roy when I met her. She was an entourage that day and she asked me if I could shoot her wedding. The true answer to her is a ‘no’ because I wasn’t scheduled to fly back from vacation until after her wedding day. But she has a charm that no one can say no to (just ask Nikko), so I replied to her with a ‘yes’ and just sorted everything out after.

It’s obvious how that decision turned out. I had the time of my life shooting these two good-looking people and absolutely enjoyed seeing familiar faces in their wedding. And you know what? That enjoyment extends to you as well. Check out the photos below and see what I mean.
