A Shangri-la The Fort Wedding | Shahanie and Austin

This wedding was three years in the making.

I met Shahanie three years ago at the wedding of her sister, Steph. Beautiful and very pleasing, I didn’t expect her to get engaged a year after, but she did. And she did with Austin, handsome and an extremely nice guy. While Austin and I didn’t meet until 2018, it was at the wedding of his second cousin, Austine, also three years ago, that he first heard about me. Something like: “it was one the best prenup shoots they have seen”, but I already forgot exactly. Haha!

We met last year and had our most unforgettable shoot in Cape Town a few months after. I strongly suggest that you check out the photos from that shoot (click here). Shahanie and Austin were as stunning as the views and their photos became part of the book WILD that I released recently. Having these encounters far apart from each other allowed us to really develop a heightened connection before their wedding. We met a few more times in-between including in events of their friends and come to their wedding day, I couldn’t have been more excited and really just want to do the best for these two.

I’m sure the photos would speak for themselves when I say that this is one of the fondest shoots I’ve done this year and it makes me proud seeing them here again in this feature. Enjoy.
