Manila Marriott Weddings | Clarissa and Timothy

Right off the bat, I would like to express my deepest appreciation and love to both Clarissa and Tim. They are frontliners of the worst-hit country in the world on its battle of the COVID-19 virus.

When Clarissa and Tim flew to the Philippines late last year to get married, the country, and the entire world for that matter, seemed to be a whole different, well, world. The wedding was intimate and the wedding was beautiful. Clarissa is absolutely one of the most composed brides that I’ve met. She just wanted things pretty. And she knows pretty for sure. She is one very pretty bride, her wedding details are all pretty and I’m sure that everyone will agree that Tim is a pretty guy as well. It’s not hard to imagine how much fun it was for me to shoot them and their wedding.

Little did these two know though, that in a matter of weeks, they will make a decision to cancel their planned reception in the US and also forego their honeymoon (vacations in medicine are not transferable) in order to be in frontlines for the United States. Since flying back, these two have been giving their share to allow their country to hold ground and save lives as kidney fellows.

We post our weddings here because we want you to enjoy the different beautiful weddings that we shoot and for our clients to be able to easily share the moments from their celebrations. Today, it is a lot more than that. It is to appreciate Clarissa and Tim and all the frontliners they represent. Clearly, the fight is not yet over, but there are signs now that some of the worst had passed and maybe taking a break to relive one of the happiest moments of their lives can cheer them up.
