This shoot not only marks our first out-of-town gig since the lockdown began early this year, but it is our first prenup shoot altogether. We expected great things because we were all raring to go, but the weather had other plans. It was a downpour when we arrived at the resort in Laguna, and it never let off. We had to decide to shoot in the rain for the most part and do what we could.

And do what we could is what we did. Kirsten and Andre were amazing. They kept their spirits high and went all out with all the ideas I had for them – including one where they had to be partly submerged underwater and get covered by a glass enclosure – this was made more challenging by the continuous rain and that it was dark already.
