Grand Hyatt BGC Wedding Photos | Shaira and Arnold

It was Sept 29, 2018, when Shaira emailed her inquiry to us. From a line that says, “Hi! I’m getting married in 2020. Can I get a price list of the packages available? Thanks,” who would have thought that she would be one of the most interesting, longest-lasting, and closest clients I would ever have. From then on, they trusted Metrophoto to shoot their Tinghun, prenup shoot, and two weddings spanning almost four years.

On the day of their glorious church wedding, Shaira was absolutely radiant; she exuded such a sophisticated and profound glow that really tied in well with her dazzling bridal look and provided that aura of we-have-waited-for-this-for-so-long-now-let-us-effin-nail-it. I could only stare in wonder and capture all the moments as my bff finally gets the wedding of her dreams.

I admire Shaira’s feistiness and how at ease she is when it comes to trying anything and everything for the sake of capturing that perfect shot (and always with the full support of Arnold); She’s like that in everything else as well – her warm and spirited nature led me to befriend her effortlessly. You have to read the piece I wrote about their prenup shoot here.

As their grand celebration went well underway with family and friends dancing and laughing all around, I couldn’t help but feel bittersweet with the thought that we had finished shooting Shaira and Arnold’s nuptials and that after the most unfortunate of delays consisting of four wedding date changes, the couple finally got what they had been planning and hoping for. We may have missed shooting on Mount Everest or having a typical wedding planning where a year would be enough, but what we got in return are four years’ worth of bonds and experiences that we can treasure for a long time and surely add on to for years to come. Enjoy the photos.
