All things considered, I’m an extremely lucky person to experience Cebu in the most glorious of times. Cebu has always been about great friends and the most beautiful of weddings. And the wedding of Angel and Rick earlier this year was no exception; it’s up there in my most favorite weddings when I think about how perfect or close to perfect that day was – kind and beautiful people, an atmosphere of abundance, and an very gorgeous bride (groom and wedding party included) to photograph.

Months removed from the heavy blows of Odette, Shangri-la Mactan was almost every bit as specular as before – the scorching heat ever-present, of course. But what’s being drenched in sweat one hour into the coverage when one gets to document a celebration so beautiful and fulfilling? I still get a thrill (and light up a smile) whenever I remember this wedding – I hope you do too, as you see the entirety of the set of photos in today’s feature.
