The Wedding of Chex and Ed

There are a lot of things I do for my clients. It is an entire experience that we follow and get to enjoy. Most of them are considerably easy – from meeting them, to photographing them, to editing their photos. But the one thing that’s the toughest is writing about them. You see, like our photos, these write-ups that we do are very personal. Thus they are always different from each couple. It is like my ‘friendster testimonial’ (remember those?) or my declaration of love for them. I’m not a writer but that doesn’t mean I will give lacklustre write-ups to people who deserve nothing but that best, so I try really hard. And you know when it is the toughest? It is when I feel that whatever I write would not be good enough to express how grateful I am for being part of their journey. That no angle of article would be witty enough to return all the love back. And that’s the state I am in right now.

Chex and Ed have shown me immense consideration and love ever since Chex texted me in frantic mode to make sure she gets the dates I’m available before they book their church. After that, we met, we had our pre-wedding shoot (you should see it), met again, had birthday celebrations, and then met some more. It was really something and seeing with how they are to each other, how much they care for and love each other, I realise how they really are as people because that’s exactly how they have treated me. It is just a I-want-to-hug-you-guys-now feeling each time. The latest time we met was during their wedding day a few weeks back and it was a glorious of a day as anyone can imagine and I have all the photos in this post for you to see.

I am not sure if this write-up did what it was supposed to do. But at least I was able to explain (and disclaim) what a tough act it is. And always, if write-up doesn’t do justice as much as we wanted to, there are the succeeding photos that we know we are very good to compensate and over compensate for it. Enjoy.
