Nicole and Kurt | A Japan Pre-Wedding Special

Metrophoto recognizes the value of being unique. That’s the reason we purposely almost never do the same location twice, especially in prenup shoots. If ever we have to, the next one should be obviously different than the first.

But there is a location that we cannot help but shoot often. Be it because it’s just really a client favourite or maybe our own favourite, shooting in the Shibuya crossing has been an anomaly of sorts. We’ve shot here almost ten times and we’ve accepted that there will always be a next one.

Late last year, we found ourselves in the world’s busiest crossing yet again – shooting and of course, well, crossing. This time it was Nicole and Kurt who we brought for some Shibuya magic. All of the shoots we had here are very different from one another, whether it’s from a different angle, time of day, poses, etc. nothing is ever close to the others. For today’s feature, we got a little help from above as it was pouring heavily while we had the shoot – something that brought a nice little mood to everything.

I’m sure you’ll appreciate what we mean when you see the photos in this post. We, in the meantime, appreciate how Nicole and Kurt worked patiently with us not only in this wet Shibuya set but although out their Japan pre-wedding shoot – which, after a usual repeat of a location, the rest of the sets we got to shoot somewhere unique.

Please, enjoy the photos and make sure you check the behind-the-scenes video below as well to see how we went about creating these one-of-kind photos for Nicole and Kurt.
