Cesca and Alex | Sundowners Zambales Pre-wedding Photographer

As we arrived at Sundowners Zambales, located in the municipality of Botolan, we were greeted by the bright sun, the salty sea, and the fresh breeze of the wind. Not only was I thankful that we were blessed with perfect weather that day, but I was also grateful for God’s creation that surrounded us. It was the perfect scenery that embodied Cesca and Alex’s personality as a couple. Cesca and Alex were easy to shoot with because they were so relaxed and candid. All their photos turned out natural and beautiful. Taking their photos was like capturing them in their element. I loved how every pose and every photo showed how deeply in love and sweet they were toward one another. There was no wall between them. Truly, they boldly showed their true selves. As you browse through their photos, I hope you see how real and authentic Cesca and Alex’s love is. Enjoy! ________________ Suppliers: Photo: Kiko Pascua Video: Lula Films Planning: Marge Montemayor

Aj and JJ | Bahay Lakan Pre-wedding Photographer

It was an afternoon they would never forget. Set in Bahay Lakan, the prenup photoshoot of AJ and JJ took place amid the quiet and seemingly eerie surroundings of the old house in Cubao. As the bride and groom moved and took their places, using the wooden furniture around them, I saw their partnership and cooperation as a couple. They were in tune with one another no matter which space we covered in the house. In the end, the result was that of great pictures showing their lovely personality amid the ghostly hush that seemed to surround us. Capturing their personality with my camera was a pleasure regardless of the environment they were in. In fact, the setting itself allowed the photoshoot to highlight the couple’s undeniable trust and love for each other. So, as you look through the result of the photoshoot, I hope you will see the beauty of the quiet and calm disposition of the couple, conveying the kind of peace only true love brings. Art and Raciel | Ataalaya Batangas Intimate Pre-wedding Photographer

After months of being cooped up at home because of the ECQ, we were finally given a chance to carry out Art and Raciel’s pre-wedding shoot in Batangas when the country entered GCQ. I was excited because it was my first photoshoot outside after the lockdown was lifted. But a part of me was worried because of all the checkpoints we had to go through from Quezon City all the way to Batangas. I was worried that they wouldn’t let us pass even though we had our medical certificates. Yet, lo and behold, everything went smoothly. That is exactly what we all needed—a breath of fresh air. Even though it was just for a while, it was an opportunity for Art and Raciel to leave their troubles behind and just focus on one another. As you look at their photos, I hope that they give you a breath of fresh air and remind you that love will always win. _______________ Suppliers: Photo: Kiko Pascua

Kat and Sieg | An Intimate Civil Wedding

For a lot of couples, I’m sure that before this pandemic came, they planned their big and extravagant weddings in advance. But sometimes, things don’t go according to our plans. This was the case for Kat and Sieg. They had big plans for their wedding but because of the Covid-19 crisis, they knew that it wasn’t feasible at this time. So they made the best of their situation and decided to hold a civil wedding with only the judge and themselves present. The rest of their guests witnessed their commitment with each other via zoom. It might not have been the dream wedding they wanted but it was memorable nonetheless because of their love for one another. Let this be a reminder to us that despite the pandemic, hope and love will always live on. Enjoy! ______________________ Supplier: Photo: Kiko Pascua

Trina ‘Hopia’ Legaspi and Ryan Jarina | A Metrophoto Special

Preparing to propose has to be one of the most nerve-wracking things to plan for. To do it in the middle of a pandemic with all the uncertainties is proof that Ryan knew what matters to him. Ryan wanted it to seem like a casual date—a quick meeting with their coordinator and a run to the barbershop for a haircut. You will see in the photos that Trina (a.k.a. Hopia) was completely clueless and taken by surprise. She initially thought the proposal setup was for someone else and quickly left the place. It took a little convincing by Ryan to get her to go back inside. When she did, she broke into tears of happiness and excitement, especially upon seeing her family there to celebrate with them. Congratulations, Ryan and Trina! We’re always humbled and thankful to document moments like this. Allow these photos to take you back to this heart-warming event. Kat and Justine | Baguio Pre-Wedding Photographer

After so many months of being cooped up inside the house because of the pandemic, it was a welcome break to be able to go to Baguio City for a pre-wedding shoot. Even though it’s one of the hardest places to get into because of strict restrictions, this did not stop Kat and Justine from shooting their pre-wedding there. After going through the required swab test, we finally inhaled the cold air I missed so much. The weather proved to be perfect for our shoot. Although it was taxing to get all the requirements needed for the trip and the shoot, I can say that it was worth all the time and effort. Just see for yourself. Gilliane | The Farm at San Benito Pre-debut Shoot

If you have been feeling cooped up because of the community quarantine,  i hope that my blog today about Gilliane’s pre-debut at The Farm at San Benito will give you a breath of fresh air. On the way to the venue, it was raining heavily, and since the weather was totally out of my control, all I could do was hope and pray that it would cooperate with us. And lo and behold, during our shoot, the sun came out brightly shining for us. It was like telling Gilliane and the team that everything was going to be okay. As we proceeded with our shoot, we saw this beautiful little falls and we decided to shoot there. Here in Metrophoto, we make sure to push the bounds of creativity. Not only do we stand firm in what Metrophoto is all about, which is Elevated, Reliable and Beautiful, but we make sure that we make lasting and beautiful  memories that our clients can share and cherish. Louise | A Zambales Pre-debut Photographer

I always look forward to shooting out of town, most especially since it’s been hard to travel since this pandemic started. Traveling is a breath of fresh air even though it’s for work. That’s why I am so thankful that I was given a chance to shoot Louise’s pre-debut before season 2 of this enhanced community quarantine started. I was deeply humbled when I met Louise. She told me that she thoroughly researched my work to the point that she knew all the names of the debutants I have shot in the past. I was glad when I heard that Metrophoto had the kind of style she had always envisioned her pre-debut to be. So when the day came for us to shoot, she went there expecting, not only to get tired but also to have fun. To all debutants, I know that this pandemic is getting you down and you deserve the spotlight. But I hope that you will not lose hope. May you find joy and inspiration as you look through Louise’s photos. Enjoy! _______________________________ Suppliers: Photo: Kiko Pascua Styling: Yvonne Camay Make-up: Albrenn Malinao
