Steph and Matt | A Wedding in Las Casas

We are all excited for you to see today’s feature of Stephanie and Matt’s wedding. I only met these two on the day of their wedding, but it was easy to appreciate and know them right away. Their wedding was an amalgam of the prettiest Filipino details and traditions – most of which I’ve never seen yet – how about Stephanie proposing to Matt during their wedding?  These plus the chemistry between these two are the reasons also that it was as easy to create wedding images that are more elevated than usual. I hope that you enjoy and appreciate something more beautiful and unique and yet still every bit of a classic today. The Wedding of Sheena and Andrew | Shangri-la Boracay

Having a wedding in Boracay alone is beautiful in itself already. But if you also fill that celebration with impeccably chosen details, beautiful people, and a love that’s wonderfully apparent, what you have are the makings of something that’s a true stand out. And it doesn’t matter if the weather doesn’t cooperate. The wedding of Sheena and Andy was affected by an unexpected downpour. What was supposed to be a garden ceremony turned out to be an exchange of vows inside the hotel. And honestly it didn’t matter because everything else was perfect. Sheena and Andy have thought of and prepared for almost everything that you’ll be able to see how they immaculately go together no matter the condition. These include their amazing gifts and the vows they gave to each other. It’s one thing to shoot a wedding in Boracay and it’s another to shoot a wedding as beautiful as this. Enjoy the photos. Bernice and Jasper | A Beautiful Prague Pre-wedding Shoot

Obsession is probably the underlying theme of today’s feature. I remember reading from somewhere that Adolf Hitler, obsessed with world domination, literally crushing everything on his path, spared the city of Prague because it was just too beautiful. This anomaly in history has allowed our generation to fully obsess about this historical paradise. I’ve never heard of anyone who disliked Prague. I heard of people hating on Paris and of London, but never of Prague. In fact it is almost always a favorite. Sounds like a place where you can never go wrong and this is the reason I’ve always wanted to shoot here – the challenge of shooting something already beautiful and overly photograph and then still create something that will wow people when they see it. I couldn’t have had better subjects to shoot than Bernice and Jasper. When the discussion of where to shoot their pre-wedding came up, Prague was the easy and unanimous choice. Bernice and Jasper lit the place up gloriously. We encountered a bit of challenges here and there but there were nothing that could really stop us – we endured the rain, hoards of people, security guards, and even the lack of sleep. You wont be able to tell just by looking at the photos because that’s how amazing this couple was. But watch the behind-the-scenes video below, and you’ll understand what we mean. Special thanks of course to Chrissie for assuming the role of everything in this trip. From stylist, to alalay, […]

Haze and Chuck | Part 2 of a South Korea Pre-wedding Shoot

In the first part of our special feature on Haze and Chuck’s pre-wedding shoot in Korea, we shared their prewedding photos from Haneul Park and at the Strafield Library in Coex Mall. We loved how those ones turned out but we of course saved the best for last. In today’s post, we bring you the pre-wedding photos from Nami Island and Dongdaemun. The contrasts of both locations are so stark and yet when brought together, they produce a masterpiece unlike any other. Join us again as we photograph Haze and Chuck for their prewedding photos at Nami Island and Dongdaemun and see urban and rural Korea. All these photos made more unique by the impeccable styling done by the couple themselves. But also make sure to check out our behind-the-scenes video below. Enjoy.

Keziah and Loven | Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church Wedding

Sometimes very little is required to say when there is so much to show. Today is one of those days, as we feature the wonderful wedding of Keziah and Loven that we shot a couple of weeks back in Tagaytay. The weather for sure wasn’t in our favor, but just about everything else worked for us. The highlight? How about one of the most beautiful brides that we’ve ever shot? Keziah is an angel, in looks, in demeanor and in how she makes everyone feel – a true blessing to us photographers. She and Loven make a lovely duo and it has been an amazing experience knowing them. Of course, the beauty doesn’t stop with Keziah and Loven, check out the rest of the post below to see what a wonderful rainy wedding day in Tagaytay it has been. ___________ Suppliers: Photo: Oly Ruiz Coordination: One Fine Day Events Video: John Marvi De Guzman, Cinema Works Make-up: Mark Qua Flowers and Styling: Gary Dacanay Catering: Antonio’s Tagaytay Emcee: Atom Ungson

Jane and Mark | Tagaytay Pre-wedding Photographer

When it comes to love, everyone usually tells me that just like magnets, opposites attract. I was never quite sure if that was true until I met Jane and Mark. While working with them on their pre-wedding, I began to see and understand why a cool, calm and collected person such as Mark fell in love with a feisty and gorgeous woman like Jane. Their personalities and characteristics complement one another so much that it’s no surprise why fate has brought them together. A nurse and a doctor walking side by side to save many lives will soon walk side by side in holy matrimony to create a beautiful life together. Enjoy their pre-wedding photos. ____________ Suppliers: Photo: Paolo Nierves Make-up: John Pagaduan Styling: Aira Franco-Capistrano Gown: Michael Leyva

Paula and JR | Fernwood Gardens Tagaytay Wedding Photographer

I believe in the saying that every cloud has a silver lining, but we have to consciously look for it. This means that although bad things happen, we can see the blessings when we deliberately open our eyes to see them.  Our feature today is an example that even against the backdrop of difficult circumstances, we can still see beauty and love. Paula and JR’s wedding happened less than a month after the Taal volcano erupted and as the pandemic was starting. But nonetheless, they pushed through with it and they became a beacon of hope to the people who attended.  Paula and JR’s wedding is proof that love is immune to problems and will always prevail no matter what. I look forward to shooting weddings like this again, hopefully in the near future. Enjoy! _____________ Suppliers: Photo: Erron Ocampo Video: Forever Mine Wedding Films Coordination: Aldwin Manguiat Make-up: Barbara Bennett

Christel and Vonn | Nueva Ecija Pre – Wedding Photographer

Since easily shooting abroad has been put on hold for the time being, I enjoy the occasional challenge of trying to transport my clients to beautiful faraway places that are seemingly outside of the Philippines, and Christel and Vonn’s prenup was a perfect bit of this. Due to incompatible schedules, I was unable to meet Christel and Vonn for the initial meeting on the direction of their prenup shoot; fortunately, Metrophoto’s trusted Creative Director, Mike, stepped in and together with the excited couple, came up with a concept that matched the exuberant flair of the beautiful Christel and the dashing Vonn. When Mike presented to me what they have put together, and I knew I had something good, but little did I know that this one will be one for the books. Prior to the shoot, I was informed that the location would be set in Highland Bali, and since I was able to shoot there before, I already expected this prenup to run smoothly with some beautiful shots. But I was definitely in for a surprise; upon arriving on set, it was clear (aside from the unbearable heat – see the BTS video), that we were going above and beyond for Christel and Vonn’s prenup shoot, with the alluring couple impeccably dressed and camera-ready. And on top of that, the couple had some sheep transported to the set, giving the whole shoot an endearingly sophisticated Scottish valley vibe (queue Celtic music). To say that Christel is ‘beautiful’ is most […]

The Prenup Photos of Verniece Enciso and Alf Dichaves | Korea Pre-wedding Photographer

I will admit that while we very much love the work that we do, there are some shoots that are more difficult to do than most – sometimes you really have to grind it out to get the good photos. But on the other end of the spectrum, there are shoots that feel like your floating (like how Steph Curry is when he’s in the zone) and everything just seem to fall into place, or in our case, arrange into frame. This is the exact feeling I had throughout the prenup shoot we had with Verniece and Alf in Korea. The weather, the time, the team, the subjects, heck even the birds, and the crowd just seemed to get the note and all worked wonderfully together. We appreciate these even more knowing that we were in for a challenge early on. We expected it to be unbearably cold, we expected to encounter a large crowd at Nami Island, and we were working on a very tight schedule. To be able to get into the groove early on despite these is a testimonial to how great it is to work with Verniece and Alf. They not only know what it takes to get the job done, but they make it so pleasant and fun for everyone.  Thus in the end, the only complaint I have is not having more time to spend with them and the team on this trip. And if you know me and I am not complaining about […]
