Santuario de San Antonio and Makati Shangri-la Weddings | Ana and Jaewoo

I rarely get clients who are schoolmates of mine from the same university, much more from the same college. So it was nice to have a Chemical Engineer from UP book Metrophoto for her wedding. To make it more exciting, she was marrying a Korean lawyer from Ateneo. If there was one thing we were going to expect, it was that the wedding will surely be unusual and beautiful – and it surely was from start to finish. I love Ana’s spirit. She’s full of energy and very beautiful. Jae on the other hand, more reserved yet very striking as well. They make such a lovely pairing and we are very grateful for the chance to document their wedding. The Wedding of Vanessa and Paul

You might remember Vanessa and Paul from the feature of their prewedding shoot is Las Casas Filipinas de Acusar a few months back. This time, this good looking couple will grace our pages again with the photos from their beautiful wedding last month. One of my most fond or should I say embarrassing moments from both times I’ve shot them were those when Vanessa’s mom scolded me. Once during the pre-wedding shoot when she got bored with all the things we were doing and then during the wedding day when we were shooting Vanessa wearing a lingerie for her boudoir. But we are besties, and that’s why we go back to being buddies soon after, like nothing happened. Enjoy the photos, it’s not everyday we see beautiful lawyers get married. The Wedding of Sharon and Ronald

The roads, sidewalks and grasses are moist almost everyday now. Raindrops are racing and subtley hitting the window that almost sounds like a beat of a melody. It has been raining for the past days. This is one of the few signs that we’re halfway through the year! Time just breezes along so fast because every month is as busy as it gets. Between all the shoots and the travelling, we do always make sure that we prioritise bring you feature after feature of these things that fill our days not just with things to do but with such sense of happiness and achievement as well. Today, it’s the turn of Sharon and Ronald’s wedding to inspire you all and me, yet again. Radiance, joy and love. These words pretty much describe the wedding of Sharon and Ronald. Their families, friends and all the guests emanate such deep support to this amazing couple. All of these are evident in those candids moments frozen in many of the photographs below. The one thing that I cannot forget is Sharon’s smile. It is as delightful and it is captivating. It just fills every space with glow. I think I know now how Ronald fell in love with her. Ronald, on the other hand, effortlessly looked handsome in his blue tuxedo. Their sense of happiness and love were shown through their natural interactions all of these shout out from the photos. From small beginnings to a radiantly beautiful wedding, I wish that Ronald […]

The Wedding of Ann and Melvin

Our feature today brings us back to late last year when Ann and Melvin celebrated their love in the most wonderful fashion, in front of their friends and family. It was a wedding filled with deep affection and with everything that is beautiful. You can easily spot that with Ann, she has impeccable taste and talent. She was the one who actually designed all her entourage’s dresses and as impressive as that sounds, one will be amazed to know that she had 18 unbelievably lovely ladies beside her and each one had their own unique gown, sublimely cut and styled. They all looked beautiful put together and even individually. As big as this group is, I can’t remember having more fun shooting with an entire set of female entourage. It was combination of many contrasting personalities but collectively fun, high-spirited, and delightfully tormenting. This goes to show that Ann’s taste extend beyond things, but to her choice of friends as well. Melvin is one of the coolest and smartest guy I know. He’s just really pleasant be with, maybe except when it’s time to take his photos. haha. But like I said, he’s cool, so we agree on how many I will take, I don’t infringe that number, and we are best friends. Paolo shot most of this solo photos anyway, so yeah we’re cool. This feature will likely be the second of four straight that I will post of a wedding we shot in Shangri-la at the Fort. We […]

The Wedding of Camille and Wes

As corny as it sounds, I wake up every each day just in total appreciation of life. There are so many things to be grateful for and for me, a huge part of it is what I do for a living. Every client meet-up every shoot (in fact every shot), every relationship, every wedding – almost everything is an experience worth savoring. These are the feelings I was reminded as I prepared this post of the wedding of Camille and Wes – beautiful people, beautiful details and one of most beautiful weddings. All these felt more pronounced because of the beautiful connection I have not only with Camille and Wes but with their families as well. All of these are exuded in each of the photograph below and I hope that by looking at them, you’ll also appreciate love, beauty and life at their finest. Enjoy.

April and Aj | Sta. Maria Goretti Parish Wedding Photographer

As I see the pandemic getting worse, and with no end in sight, I have more respect for our doctors. They work day and night to serve our country,  putting their lives at risk to help their fellow Filipinos. These frontliners remind me of April and Aj, both ophthalmologists, whose wedding I had the privilege of shooting last December. The most unique thing about this couple was their choice of the Church where their wedding was to be held. Most couples usually pick the church closest to their reception venue to make it convenient both for themselves and their guests. But April and Aj chose Sta. Maria Goretti Parish, quite a distance from their reception venue, because it held a special significance to them. This is where they attend mass every Sunday and where they strengthened, not only their relationship with each other but with the Lord. Be encouraged as you look at the wedding pictures of these two doctors. May you find hope in their love story amidst these trying times. ________________ Suppliers: Photo: Paolo Nierves Video: Forevermine Wedding Films Make-up: Anthea Bueno Gown: Hannah Kong Styling: Teddy Manuel Host: JC Alelis

Kaye and Janus | Santuario De San Antonio and Whitespace Makati Wedding

Every woman looks forward to their wedding day and of course, if not all, most women want the bright sun to welcome them on their special day. But even on special days, no matter how much you prepare, there can be setbacks. But it is how you respond in such situations that makes everything worthwhile. On Kaye and Janus’ special day, the rain did not stop pouring. For some, they’d be disappointed and let the rain ruin this moment, but not Kaye and Janus. Despite this unpredictable circumstance, this fun and chill couple, along with their family and friends, kept the spirits high and partied the whole day through. Kaye and Janus is a living reminder to never let circumstances, most especially those out of our control, dictate or determine how we feel or what to do. They reminded me that it is a choice to enjoy life despite what’s happening around us. As the saying goes, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Enjoy Kaye and Janus’ fun and high spirited photos. _____________________________ Suppliers: Photo: Erron Ocampo Video: Cinemaworks Coordination: Empire Weddings Make-up: Albert Kurniawan Hair: Jerry Javier Gown: Francis Libiran Bridal Event Styling: Dave Sandoval Music: Manila Philharmonic Orchestra

Enruth and Hamilton | Shangri-la The Fort Wedding

How each wedding looks like will be interpreted similarly by people who are present in the event itself, they are there first hand to witness every detail and every moment. The lasting interpretation comes after the event when everyone will only be able to see the celebration through the photographs. And this is where the different styles of photographers come to play. You can have a simple wedding that can look much more beautiful in photos or a truly sophisticated wedding that will look fairly, well, fair. Taste will always come into play and we are always happy to deliver this elevated representation of the wedding through our photos, consistently. Today’s wedding feature of that of Enruth and Hamilton is no different. The wedding itself is filled with well-thought-of details and they came through as splendidly in the photos that you’ll see below. So please, enjoy. __________ Suppliers: Photo: Oly Ruiz Make-up: Pong Niu Coordination: Jen Sanchez Lim Gown: Francis Libiran Suit: Francis Libiran Grooming: The Spoiled Groom PH Flowers and Styling: Gideon Hermosa Reception: Shangri-la Fort

Janet and Christian | Boracay Wedding Photographer

I have worked with many brides in the past—business owners, artists, professionals and the like. But today, our feature is all about 2018 Miss Philippines USA Janet Hammond and her now husband Christian. With the salty smell of the sea, the bright sun, and family surrounding the bride and groom, Janet’s beach wedding held in the beautiful island of Boracay nothing but shouted simplicity with elegance. I always say to most of our couples that 80% of our brides and grooms are not used to being in front of the camera, Janet is definitely one of the exceptions. It is certainly true that she’s a woman who delivers with the best of her capabilities. Enjoy! ________________ Suppliers: Photo: Erron Ocampo Video: Cinemaworks Coordination: La Belle Fete Make-up: Jelly Eugenio Hair: Paul Nebres Styling: Bonita Penaranda Event Styling: Gideon Hermosa Bride’s Gown: Berta Bridal Groom’s Suit: Nat Manilag
